Managing Catalog Items on an Account

Catalog item is a general term that refers to services, products, packages, discounts, pricing plans, and contracts. Catalog items are managed via the

Features tab

This section provides an overview of these tabs, and provides detailed instructions for managing catalog items including:

  • Adding and editing features and services. Features can be added at the account or service level.

  • Changing features - This lets you disconnect and add multiple services and products to existing customer accounts in one single order.

  • Changing service numbers

  • Creating a change order

  • Managing service addresses

  • Disconnecting and reconnecting features and services

  • Suspending, hotlining, redirecting and restoring services

  • Duplicating services - This lets you add services to a customer account by duplicating a similar service that already exists.

  • Managing Contracts

    Catalog items assigned to a specific customer account are displayed on the Features and Services tabs on the Customer window. The Features tab provides information and management functions for products, packages, discounts, pricing plans and contracts which are assigned at the account level. The Services tab provides information and management functions for service numbers assigned to the selected customer account, and for the products, packages, discounts, pricing plans and contracts assigned to each service number.

Submenus are available on both the Features and Services tabs by right-clicking any catalog item in the Services or Features lists. See Submenus.

Icons are displayed in the first column of the Features and Services tabs to indicate the type of service or feature. See .

Service Icon

Indicates a service that does not have any sub services beneath it.

Suspended Service Icon

Indicates a suspended Service that does not have any sub services beneath it.

Service With SubService Icon

Indicates a Service that has one or more sub services beneath it.

Suspended Parent Service icon

Indicates a suspended Service that has one or more sub services beneath it.

SubService Icon

Represents a sub service.
