To view the Event Log for a catalog item:
Right-click on the catalog item and select Properties > Event Log. This displays the Event Search Results window.
Right-click on a record. This displays a shortcut menu.
The shortcut menu provides the following options:
View Node - opens the Event Record window. Double-clicking on a row also opens the Event Record window.
The Event Record window contains the following information:
Log ID
System generated ID that uniquely identifies the log.
User Name
Name of the user who was logged in and associated with the event.
Origination
Where the event was created (IDI Server, Order ImportServer, and so on).
Application
Where the event was logged (such as Object Engine, Task Engine, and so on).
Node Type
Type of entry that was made to the log (such as Update, Database Entry, System Error, and so on).
Log Level
Degree of information logged. At the Advanced level, more information is retained than at the Normal level.
Entry Date
Date the entry was made to the log.
Object Type
Type of object that was acted upon, such as Service, Product, Order, and so on.
Object ID
Internal identifier of the object.
Note
In some cases the Object ID, which can be a different value than the Object key, may be displayed as a link. You can click the link to jump to that particular object (such as the order).
Object Key
The identifier of the object.
View Tree - opens the tree view of the related events.
