Changing a Service Number

The Change Service Number Wizard allows you to change the number of a service.

This change can be done manually, by entering a new number, or by porting in an existing number, or entering a temporary number.

The provisioning process obtains the new service number.

To change a service number:

1. Select the Services tab in the Customer window.

2. Right-click on a service and select Change Service Number. This displays the Change Service Number window.

3. Click the ellipsis button and select one of the four options.

   • Get Available Service Number

   • Choose Available Service Number

   • Use Temporary Service Number

   • Create Ported-In Service Number

4. Click Finish to continue.

   Note

   A service number of a shared service on a favorite number discount cannot be changed to an existing favorite number.
