Selecting Get Available Service Number displays the Select Inventory Groups window if there are no reservations for the service numbers in this service's inventory.
To assign the next available service number in inventory:
Select a Service Number Inventory Group from the drop-down list.
Notes:
If your system's configuration is set to let you assign a non-matching MIN, you will see a field named MIN Inventory Group that you can use to select a different MIN. Does not apply to wireline.
If your system is configured to require that MINs must match the service number, then only service numbers will be returned that have a matching MIN (that exists in inventory and is able to be reserved and its value able to be set to Assigned). Does not apply to wireline.
Click OK.
The new service number is populated, and if applicable, a new MIN is also supplied.
