Customer Notifications provide mail merge and data export operations. This service supports a scripted template format for merging data from the database. System-generated notifications can be delivered to the customer via any of the following methods:
The notification can be delivered as an e-mail message.
A Dialer service/stored procedure can be invoked that calls the customer and plays the notification to the customer over the telephone.
The notification can be written to a file.
