Customer Notifications Tab

You can view a list of all notifications sent to a specific customer from the Notifications tab on the Customer window.

In the IDI Desktop Client:

You can right-click on a notification to display a context menu with the following options:

Resubmit - This will resend the notification and add a new instance of the notification in the grid. The original notification will be marked with a resent icon in the first column (see below)
View - This is only applicable for notifications sent via the Communications web module. When applicable this option will display the Notification details in a separate window.
Send Notification - This lets you send a new notification. It displays a sub-menu with available options based on permissions and rules regarding sending notifications .

The Notifications tab provides the following information for each notification that was sent to this customer:

Template	If the notification was generated by the Notification Wizard, this is the name of the template used to generate the notification. If the notification was a manual single e-mail notification, this column is blank.
Delivery	Type of delivery method used to send the notification: Direct - not currently used/supported E-mail - send notification via e-mail File - output notification to a file Dialer - send notification via telephone (InfoScript executes a stored procedure or interfaces with an external Dialer service to call the customer and play the notification over the telephone).
Date/Time	Date and time the notification was created.
Reference To	Displays the associated customer account number or invoice number.
Notes	Bulk notification - displays text describing the results of the bulk notification process. Single e-mail notification - displays the e-mail notification sent to the customer. Note When you click a notification in the data table, the Notes for that notification are displayed in the text box at the bottom of the Notifications tab.
User ID	Displays the User ID of the person that generated the notification.
*Text box at bottom of window, below data table*	Bulk notification - displays the complete set of Notes associated with the notification selected in the data table. Single e-mail notification - displays the complete e-mail message associated with the notification selected in the data table.

Notes:

If a failed notification is resubmitted, a new notification history record is created.
With the exception of those sent using the OnlineBill Mailer Wizard, notifications sent from OnlineBill Release 1.1 or higher are not displayed on this tab. For OnlineBill Release 1.1 or higher, please refer to the OnlineBill Configuration Guide on E-Support.
