These notifications might be used for a targeted promotion of a weekend special at a particular store, or a global notification that a service outage is pending.
To send an on-demand generic notification, access the Generic Notification Wizard and select the data source "On-demand Notifications."
This data source does not include disconnected customers in the results. A disconnected customer is defined as a customer who has a disconnect date that is past the current time and date.
A primary service is the service marked as "Primary Service" in the Edit Service window.
The Contact information returned is the customer’s primary contact.
This data source returns one row per active service for each active customer. Active services are those without a disconnect date or those with a disconnect date that is later than the current time and date.
It is installed with the SMS delivery methods: SMS_SMPP and SMS_SMTP, as well as the Email delivery method.
