The following steps must be taken to set up Usage Notification functionality:
Enable the appropriate permissions in Admin Console. See Enable Usage Notifications Permissions.
Establish templates to use for notifications. See Usage Notification Templates.
Establish the Global Settings and rules for usage notification. See Usage Notification Configurations.
Ensure subscribers are not charged for usage notifications sent via SMS by marking the originating Customer Service numbers as unbillable. See Orig/Term Numbers.
