Bill To Same as Sold To
This is automatically checked, so it is correct for a typical residential customer. Uncheck it if the Bill To address and Sold To address are different, then enter the Bill To information.
Type
The customer type can be Residential or several other business types. Other types may allow customers to receive accounts receivable privileges and certain access privileges. Some of the business types provide reporting information for tax exemptions.
Account Number
This is an informational field for accounts receivable customers.
Account Receivable
This is an informational field for accounts receivable customers.
Approval
Do not add any information to this field. It is used during a credit approval process.
Term
Select the payment terms (Due on Receipt, Net 10, Net 30, and so on).

Company
Type the Company Name of the customer.
Work #
Type the work telephone number of the customer.
Ext
Type the extension of the customer's work telephone number.
Fax
Type the customer's fax number.
Contact
Type the name of the company contact person.
Discount
Press Down Arrow to select a new discount rate for all the customer's purchases.
Select the Tax Exemption
Select the Checkbox for the appropriate Tax Type that is to be exempted. Enter the Exempt ID in the Column next to it. (Select the Column with the Mouse).
Select Other
Enter the Social Security Number and Birthday.
Enter the Driver's License number, state and country.
Select the Additional
Press Next and continue to Select Products for Purchase.
