Guided Assignment Starting Codes

Guided Assignment Starting Codes are used with the Make Sale and Sales Request processes to streamline order entry and provide a configurable means of making certain decisions for you. Using Starting Codes helps ensure the correct items are included in the sale. When you enter the Starting Code in the Find Catalog Item field on the shopping cart (Make Sale window), the associated Guided Assignment begins.

During a sale, Starting Codes are codes entered into the Find Catalog Item field to start a specific Guided Assignment or add a specific item(s). Several Starting Codes can be related to the same Guided Assignment flow.
