The Active Guided Assignment Starting Codes window displays only those starting codes currently active. It does not list starting codes that will become active in the future or those no longer active (with an End Date in the past).
To view Active Guided Assignment Starting Codes:
From the Applications menu, select Product Management > Guided Assignment Starting Codes > Active Starting Codes. This displays the Active Guided Assignment Starting Codes window.

The Active Guided Assignment Starting Codes window includes the following information
Availability icon
The first column is an icon showing the availability of the Guided Assignment Starting Code.
A green check mark indicates the Starting Code is currently active.
A yellow check mark indicates the Starting Code will become active in the future.
A red X indicates the Starting Code is no longer active.Starting Code
The Starting Code is the code CSRs enter in the Find Catalog Item field when making a sale.
Guided Assignment Flow
The Guided Assignment Flow is the item within the Product Catalog that is evaluated or assigned as a result of selecting the Starting Code from the POS Find Catalog Item window during Make Sale or Make Sales Request.
Service Option
The Service Option determines whether the Starting Code should create a new service (Create New Service), update an existing service (Modify Existing Service), or let the user decide during the flow (User Entered).
Start Date
The Start Date is the date the Starting Codes are available for use in sales flows.
End Date
The End Date is the date the Starting Codes are no longer available for sales flows.
Description
The Description is a additional information about the Starting Code(s).
Force service selection for retail only flows
If a Guided Assignment Flow results in only retail items being assigned, Yes indicates those retail items are to be associated with a new or existing service (based on the Service Option).
Display Service Info Page
Yes indicates the Service Information Page is displayed in the POS wizard as a result of selecting this Starting Code.
No indicates the Service Information Page is not displayed in the POS wizard as a result of selecting this Starting Code.
Select Service First
Yes indicates the Select Existing Service page is displayed before other Guided Assignment pages in the POS wizard.
No indicates the Select Existing Service page is displayed based on the Guided Assignment Flow.
Update Service On Equipment
Yes indicates the service is updated in CostGuard with the new equipment information upon completion of the order.
No indicates the service is not updated with the new equipment information until the customer has received the equipment and a new swap equipment order has been completed.
