Assigning/Editing a Service - Service Addresses Tab

Prev Next

The Service Addresses tab lets you add, edit, and remove the service addresses associated with the service.

This tab provides the following information:

ID

Unique ID automatically assigned to this service address when it was added to the system.

Service Address

Service address assigned to the service displayed in the window's title bar.

Status

Status of this service address - Approved, Not Approved, Retired, or Pending Approval.

MSAG Validated

Indicates whether or not the service address was validated against the MSAG table:

  • If the service address was successfully validated, this field contains the text "MSAG on MM/DD/YYYY", where MM/DD/YYYY is the date the validation was performed.

  • If the service address was not validated or failed MSAG validation, this field contains the text "Not MSAG Validated".

You can add an existing address, or a new address.

To add an existing address:

  1. Right-click anywhere in the Service Addresses tab and select Find Existing Address (see Finding an Existing Service Address).

  2. Select the existing addresses that you want to add.

To add a new service address:

  3. Right-click anywhere in the Service Addresses section and select Create New Address (see Adding a Service Address).

Once you add one or more service addresses, you can perform the following functions:

  • Edit a service address by right-clicking on the service address and selecting Edit Address (see Editing a Service Address).

  • Remove a service address by right-clicking on the service address and selecting Remove Address.

As long as the selected service address is not the current tax or E911 service address, it is deleted from the Service Addresses tab and is removed from the list of service addresses associated with this service.

If the selected service address is the current E911 service address or the current tax service address, an error is displayed.
