The Contact Information tab lets you add the contact information associated with the service.
(Show picture)
This tab provides the following information:
Contact
Primary Customer Contact or Service Contact for this service. The address fields in this window are populated with the selected contact's address.
Note
If the contact is not in the drop-down list, you can add a new contact by clicking the Add Contact link to the right of this field. See below.
Click this link to create a new contact. This displays the New Contact window (see Adding a Contact). When you click Save on the New Contact window, the new contact is added to the Contact drop-down list (see above).
Notes:
Since there can only be one Primary Customer Contact, which is included in the Contact drop-down list, you can only add Service Contacts via this link.
If a contact is added while adding a new service order and the service order is subsequently cancelled, the contact remains in the system.
Click this link to edit the displayed contact. See Editing a Contact for more information. When you click Save in the Edit Contact window, the Contact field, Contact drop-down list, and address fields in this window are updated to reflect the changes.
Note
This link is disabled if the selected Contact is the Primary Customer Contact.
Contact Type
