To add a contact:
Right-click any row and select New. This displays the New Contact - Customer window.

Contact Type
The Contact Type describes the kind of contact associated with the contact information, such as Primary Customer Contact or Billing Contact.
Start Date
The Start Date is the day this contact became active. Only one of each Contact Type can be active at the same time.
End Date
The End Date is the day this contact will no longer be used. Only one of each Contact Type can be active at the same time.
Hours of Access
The Hours of Access is when the contact is available.
First / Mi. / Last Name
This may be a person or company name. You may enter any letters, numbers, punctuation marks or special characters.
Company Name
The name of the company if the customer is a business.
Street, City, State and Zip Code
These fields default to the service address if entered. If you don't enter a service address, enter the address information in these fields.
Country
Country where the subscriber's Primary Customer Contact is located. The default (blank) = USA.
Validation Result
The Validation Result icon describes the result of the automatic address validation.
Green check mark: the validation was successful and the Required and Actual validation types match.
Yellow check mark: the validation was successful but the Required and Actual validation types do not match.
Red X: the validation was unsuccessful and the attempt was bypassed.
Click Validate Now to validate the address immediately. If you do not use this button, validation occurs upon leaving this window.

To see additional address information, click Additional Info and select one of the following: Parsed Address, View Phone / Email, or View Address Validation Info.
Add the desired information to the Contact tab.
Click the Phone/Email tab and add the desired information.

Click Save to save the changes.

Your permissions profile must have the Contacts > New permission enabled. See .
Contacts (permissions)
Enabled: Lets you manage contacts for an account via the Contacts tab on the customer window.
Disabled: The Contacts tab is not displayed on the customer record.
Children:
Delete
Enabled: Lets you delete an existing contact from the Contacts tab on the Customer window.
Note
The primary customer contact cannot be deleted, even when this permission is enabled.
Disabled: Delete is not displayed on the the contact's shortcut menu.
Edit
Enabled: Lets you edit an existing contact.
Disabled: The Edit option is changed to View. This gives you read-only access to the contact information.
New
Enabled: Lets you create a new contact.
Disabled: New is not displayed on the contact's shortcut menu.
Click the Notes tab and add the desired notes information.

Note
This field is not required and there are no restrictions on the number of characters that can be entered.
