Selecting a Service from the Order Items list displays the Details pane on the right.

This pane lets you:
View/Edit Service information, including Service Numbers and Service Addresses
Port in a Number
Remove the Service from the Order
Add Features to the Service, or at the Account level
Add Subservices (if the Service is eligible to have Subservices)
To close the Details pane, click the X icon.
Toggling and Editing Service Information
The Details pane has four views that you can display selectively via View drop down menu (five views for wireless services):

Details - This is the default view. It displays Service information as applicable to the Service Type.

Additional Information - This view displays Service attributes, if applicable. Attributes may be configured on a Service Type basis in Admin Console on your behalf as part of the SaaS service.

Service Addresses - This view lets you view and manage (link/unlink) Service Addresses on a Service.

Note
When adding a new wireless service, the Handset ID defaults to XXXXXXXXXX as a placeholder. This placeholder is updated with the actual serial number when you add a handset to the service.

When adding a new wireless service, the Handset ID defaults to XXXXXXXXXX as a placeholder. The handset ID is displayed on the Equipment Information view on the Order Detail right panel.

When you add a new handset on the service, the serial number you enter for the handset automatically updates the Handset ID on the service.

Notes:
Service and handset technologies must be compatible (both or neither GSM).
The Handset ID is only changed if it is still set to the placeholder value.
The update is only applied to one handset per service. If you add more than one handset to the service, the Handset ID is updated using the Serial Number entered for the first handset and will not be updated by subsequent handset serial numbers.
To Edit Service information, select the view from the View drop down menu, and then click the Edit (pencil) icon. This enables applicable fields for editing and provides SAVE and CANCEL buttons. .

Entering Service Numbers
When assigning Service Numbers you can:
Assign numbers in bulk - If you're working with Multiple Services, use the Bulk Assign icon. To make this icon available, the Quantity must be set to greater than 1 (click the Pencil icon to make Quantity editable). When you finish bulk-assigning numbers, clicking ADD TO ORDER will add Services to the Order to match the specified Quantity. Several methods are available for bulk assigning. The Get and Choose options are only applicable for inventoried Services.

Choose Numbers - Use this option if you require specific numbers from inventory.

If the account has numbers Reserved in Inventory, the Choose By drop-down menu lets you choose by Inventory Group or Reservation. If numbers have not been reserved, Inventory Group is pre-selected and cannot be changed.
Select the Inventory Group or Reservation from which to choose.
Use the Filtering options to narrow the scope of numbers returned.
You may change the Quantity to assign if needed.
Check Sequential if you want to assign numbers that are sequential (no gaps between them).
Click SEARCH to return a list of numbers from which to choose. Note: If more numbers are found than needed, select from the list. If you select more than the number of services, a message is displayed, The number selected is greater than the total quantity.
Select the numbers to add then click ADD TO ORDER. This adds the Services (per quantity specified) to the Orders grid with their assigned numbers.

Get Numbers - Use this option if you do not require specific numbers from inventory.

List - Use this option to choose and assign service numbers completely manually, and potentially manage outside the IDI platform (for example, swivel-chairing to another system that manages service number inventory).

Port Numbers - This option displays the Port-in long form or short form depending on the Product Catalog configuration for the selected Service Type.

Range - Use this option to assign numbers based on a specified to/from range.

Use to specify a range of numbers to assign.
From Prefix – Enter the common values for a series of numbers; for a 10-digit number, the NPA and NXX.
From Starting Range - The first station number for the range of numbers being assigned.
To is automatically filled in with the last consecutive number in the range based on the Quantity.
You may change the Quantity to assign if needed.

Temporary Numbers - Use this when an actual number is not known or is not available at the time of order placement. All services are assigned XXXXXXXXXX.

Assign a number to a single Service - If you're working with a single Service (Quantity = 1 and you don’t need to add more Services of that type), use the simple Update process. Click on the edit icon (pencil) to make the Service details editable, and then click the Phone icon in the Service Number field to display the available options. For non-inventoried types, your only options are to enter the number manually, or Port in a number. The Get and Choose options are only applicable for inventoried Services.

Choose Numbers
Use this option if you require specific numbers from inventory. This is similar to choosing in bulk, except that only one number will be assigned to the single service. The Quantity field determines how many numbers will be returned by the search. You can only choose one number to assign.

Get Numbers
If the account has numbers Reserved in Inventory, the Choose By drop-down menu lets you choose by Inventory Group or Reservation. If numbers have not been reserved, Inventory Group is pre-selected and cannot be changed.
Select the Inventory Group or Reservation from which to get a number.

Port-in Numbers
This option displays either a long or short Port-in form, depending on Service Type's Product Catalog setup. If you need to cancel out of the Port-in Request, click the REMOVE button.

Manual/Temporary Numbers
If you know the number to be assigned, or if you want to assign a temporary number (XXXXXXXXXX), simply enter the number (or X's) in the Service Number field.
Support for eSIM Devices
When you add/edit a service or swap equipment, if the device on the service is eSIM there are additional fields on the Service Details Equipment Information view for viewing/editing the EID.

In edit mode, the Handset drop down drives the EID field behavior as described below.

If device Supported SIM Class = eSIM Only the EID field is required.
If device Supported SIM Class = eSIM or SIM Card you must choose to assign an eSIM or a SIM Card.
EID is required if using an eSIM. It’s optional if using a SIM Card.
For Customer-provided equipment (CPE), the user-entered EID must be 32 digits in length and not already exist in Device Management.
If the entered equipment MEID/IMEI is found and already a record in the Device table, it will auto-populate the EID with the value from the table, if available.
If the EID value is auto-populated, then it cannot be modified
The entered eSIM value must be either:
a temporary value that will be updated later in the process (e.g. XXXXXXXXXX) or,
a valid eSIM number (where the eSIM value already exists in SIM Management by having been pre-loaded and is then either entered by the user or auto-assigned by the solution)
Wireless Service - Usage Notifications & Primary Service Option
For wireless services, the details view lets you mark the service as primary,, and determine which services on the account should receive usage notifications.

Set as Primary Service - Checking this box makes this service the primary service on the account. The designated primary service may be selected to receive usage notifications as described below. Also, any applicable Entitlements are applied to a customer's primary service. See the topic for Entitlements (Wireless) in IDI Desktop Client Online Help.
Send Usage Notifications To - This drop down menu lets you determine which service(s) should receive usage notifications. The choices are:
Both (Service and Primary Service) - Send notifications to this service and the account’s primary service.
Service only - Send notifications to this service.
Primary Service only - Do not send notifications to this service. Send notifications to the primary service instead.
Opt-Out - Do not send notifications for this service. This applies to all usage notifications. You can’t opt out of notifications for one discount category (or threshold) and receive notifications for a different category (or threshold). This option is only available if the global setting, Disable Opt-Out Option, is unchecked.
This menu defaults to Service Only.

Removing a Service from the Order
You can remove the Service from the order by clicking the Remove (trash can) icon.

Note
Removing a service also removes any of its subservices.
