    • Browse Browse displays a list of filters that are either browse tags configured as Display as Root or are root-level Product Catalog folder names.

      Note

The number that displays in parenthesis next to each filter represents the number of available features tied to that filter tag/folder.

Select an item in the Filters list on the left to display the corresponding Available Features on the right. You may continue to refine the Available Features list by selecting more granular filters or go back to the previous filter list by clicking the Back link.

    • Add by SKU is an exact match. If you are unsure of the exact SKU, you can use the Search by Description option. To search for multiple SKUs, enter each SKU on a separate line in the search box.

    • Search By Description - Enter the description, or part of the description, in the text box

Selecting a feature that meets the quantity requirement dynamically updates the feature to show the status:

    • Green = limit has been reached

    • Yellow = warning, maximum limit has been exceeded

If you attempt to ADD features to the order without meeting the Assignment Template requirements, an error message is displayed preventing you from proceeding.

Viewing & Editing Individual Items Within a Package

When you add a package you can view and edit the individual components bundled within it (products, contracts, discounts, pricing plans and dynamic charge products). For details see Managing Packages in an Order.

Considerations for Adding Handsets that Support GSM Technology and eSIMS

When adding a new service or swapping equipment where the handset technology is Dual Mode or GSM, providers that pre-load eSIMS can easily select and assign an available eSIM.

Some setup is required. The functionality is toggled off by default (for providers that do not pre-load eSIMs) and can be toggled on as needed via a new Display Get Available eSIM setting in the Display section in MANAGE > Settings.

Note

The IDI Desktop Client Product Catalog supports setting up handsets to use eSIMs. When Product Class is Handset and Technology is Dual Mode (CDMA-SIM) or GSM, the Supported SIM Class drop down menu is enabled and you can select eSIM, eSIM or SIM Card (both) or SIM Card.

When this functionality is enabled as described above and the selected handset on the service details Equipment Information view supports eSIMs, the SIM ID field will have an associated Get an available eSIM link. Clicking the link will automatically populate the SIM ID field with an available eSIM.

Note

If after populating the SIM ID field with an eSIM and you change the handset to one that does not support eSIMs, the field will still be populated with the eSIM and must be cleared manually.
