Add a rate plan to the pricing plan detail using these steps:
Write down the Usage Type of the recycled record. (NOTE that a Pricing Plan (catalog ID) may be shown on in the recycled record, but this should be ignored – it is the svctypeid of the pricing plan and is not useful from the CG GUI.)
Search for the service number of interest.
On the Services tab of the account - right click on the appropriate Service number in the top panel and choose Properties/ Assigned Pricing Plans on the menu.
Peruse the pricing plans [including their End Date] to determine which pricing plan should be processing this record. Usually there is only one, but several may be shown if older pricing plans have been assigned to the service or if Pricing Plan hunting is being used (i.e. a la carte pricing). Write down the Description of the pricing plan of interest. If there are no pricing plans shown, a pricing plan needs to be assigned to the service [rather than modifying a Pricing Plan that is already assigned].
Go into the Product Catalog, and do a Product Catalog search using the icon in the top left of the window.
In the Product Catalog Search window, enter the Description (from above) in the Description field and click Search. (The wildcard character * may be used if needed.)
Right click on the PP of interest (there are likely many paths to the same PP, so right-click on any one), and pick ‘Pricing Plan Details’ on that menu.
Find the Pricing Plan Details row with the appropriate Usage Type. If there is no Rate Plan specified for the A LEG, right-click this row, pick ‘Edit’, and specify the appropriate A LEG Rate Plan (Leg B rating is rarely used, and thus is typically blank). Otherwise contact IDI for additional support.
Details
Each service can have one or more pricing plans assigned to it for rating of calls. In this case none of those pricing plans could rate this record because none had a rate plan specified for this usage type. The user needs to set one up.
