Global information is one of three sources for populating Profile property values. System data and PODs are the other sources. Global information facilitates reusing information that is common to multiple Profiles. To access, select MANAGE > Global Information.
You configure the item once and simply reuse in multiple Profiles as needed. Also this makes it easier to update items whose value may change from time to time such as log-in credentials. When a value is updated here, the update is propagated to all applicable Profiles.

Click ADD GLOBAL INFORMATION ITEM to add items as needed. Click the red x to delete an item.

When you add a global item specify the Name, Data Type and Value. You can also specify to make sensitive information confidential. This masks the value throughout the system, so it cannot be seen and stores it as encrypted in the database.
