This is used to limit the items sent in a provisioning request as you test your provisioning setup to avoid disrupting existing services and products. Items sent in a provisioning request are associated to the Order by Internal IDs (service or account numbers in this release of the Provisioning application). When in Safeguard mode, provisioning requests are only sent for Allowed Internal IDs. Note: Also, when in Safeguard mode provisioning will automatically complete any internal id that is not included in the safeguard settings (rather than sending to the endpoint). This lets you test the workflow and order without getting provisioning errors.
Safeguard mode is enabled by default. Once you’re satisfied with the setup and ready to move to production you can toggle out of safeguard mode.
To access, select MANAGE > Safeguard Settings. The dialog lets you create and manage the list of Allowed Internal IDs to be send in a provisioning request, and toggle Safeguard mode.

To add an Allowed Internal ID click +, then enter one or more Internal IDs as needed.
