In order to modify an existing service number block, the following permission must be enabled in your Permission Profile: Application > CostGuard Client > Inventory Management > Service Number Inventory > Service Number Blocks > Edit.
To edit a service number block:
In the Service Number Blocks window, either double-click the service number block or right-click the service number block and select Edit.
OR
In the Service Number Block Search Results window, either double-click the service number block or right-click the service number block and select Edit. This displays the Edit Service Number Block window.

Edit service number block information as described below:
NPANXX / X
First seven digits (NPA-NXX-X) of the service numbers in this block.
Total Numbers
Total number of service numbers in this block that are NRUF reportable (NRUF Category is NOT set to Do Not Report).
Note:
A service number is only counted once, even if that service number resides in multiple inventories.
Contaminated
Identifies whether or not any of the service numbers within this block are assigned to a customer or another carrier (inventory status is Assigned or Intermediate):
Yes: Block is contaminated. One or more service numbers within this block are assigned to a customer or another carrier.
No: Block is not contaminated. None of the service numbers within this block are assigned to a customer or another carrier.
Utilization
Number of Assigned service numbers that require NRUF reporting, divided by the total number of service numbers in the block (do not include Intermediate service numbers).
Notes:
Only service numbers that reside in inventories requiring NRUF reporting are included in this calculation.
If a service number resides in multiple inventories, it is only counted once.
Ported-In service numbers are not included in this calculation.
Block Type
Current Block Type assigned to this service number block.
To modify, select the desired type from the drop-down list.
Block Status
Current Block Status assigned to this service number block.
To modify, select the desired status from the drop-down list.
Block Owner
Current Block Owner assigned to this service number block.
To modify, select the owner of this service number block from the drop-down list.
Code Holder
Current Code Holder assigned to this service number block.
To modify, enter the Code Holder for this service number block.
Maximum number of characters = 50 alphanumeric characters.

Note:
From the Edit Service Number Block window, you can add new service numbers to one or more inventories, by clicking the Actions button in the bottom left-hand corner of the Edit Service Number Block window and selecting Add Additional Service Numbers. The Add Additional Service Numbers Wizard is displayed. See Add Additional Service Numbers Wizard for more information.
Click Save. The window from which you requested to edit the service number block (either Service Number Block Search Results window or Service Number Blocks window) is updated with the change you just made.
If you changed the Block Status to Donated to Pool a confirmation message box is displayed.
Click Yes to close the confirmation window and Edit Service Number Block window. The window from which you requested to edit the service number block (either Service Number Block Search Results window or Service Number Blocks window) is updated with the change you just made.
Note:
Changing a service number block's status to Donated to Pool changes the status of all Available service numbers within that block to Donated to Pool. All service numbers within that block that have a status of Reserved, Assigned, or Aging remain unchanged for now. If and when they are returned to inventory, their status is set to Donated to Pool at that time.
If you changed the Block Status from Donated to Pool a confirmation message box is displayed.
Click Yes. The window from which you requested to edit the service number block (either Service Number Block Search Results window or Service Number Blocks window) is updated with the change you just made.
Note:
Changing a service number block's status from Donated to Pool changes the status of all Donated to Pool service numbers within that block to Available.
