OnlineAgent and SalesCentral use Browse Tags, Browse Tag Categories, and Assignment Templates in specific ways. Use the following information to help you configure the related tags and templates.
General information:
OnlineAgent:
The first catalog item chosen in OnlineAgent in an order flow is a handset. Based on the handset, related plans are displayed for this selection. The combination of the handset and plan selected determine which features are displayed.
Only catalog items within the current location are presented for sale, that is, product availability rules are observed.
SalesCentral:
In SalesCentral, a sales quote is based on the customer's Zone. The assignment template for that zone determines which services and features are available for selection when creating a quote.
Services must have a template assigned (on the Browse Tags tab) to display its associated features.
The assignment template with the ID = 0 (a Contract template) must be assigned to all Contracts that are to be displayed on the Contract selection page. Only those contracts whose browse tags match those in the template are displayed for selection.
