The name of a system-defined browse tag category cannot be changed. System-defined browse tag category ID numbers are less than 10,000. User-defined IDs are greater than 10,000.
Do not create a new category with the same name as a system-defined browse tag category.
Category names should be unique to avoid confusion.
Within an assignment template, each assignment template rule category must be unique.
The Accessory browse tag category is currently not in use.
OnlineAgent Category template guidelines:
The system-defined browse tag category Plan tells the system to display the related catalog items on the Plan Selection page during an OnlineAgent sale.
If an assignment template does not contain a rule whose category is Plan, all catalog items with the browse tag Plan assigned to it are displayed on the Plan Selection page.
If the system-defined feature browse tag is one of the required browse tags in an assignment template rule, the name of its corresponding category is used as a heading on the Feature Selection page.

Note that the Category names from the above Assignment Template Rules are used to group the available items on the Feature Selection below.
The system-defined browse tag category Contract tells the system to display the related catalog items on the Contract Selection page during an OnlineAgent sale.
If an assignment template does not contain a rule whose category is Contract, all catalog items with the browse tag contract assigned to it are displayed on the Contract Selection page.
The system-defined browse tag category Handset tells the system to display the related catalog items on the Handset Selection page.
If an order flow results in the inclusion of two assignment templates that contain the same category, the required browse tags for that category from the two templates are combined as the search criteria. For example, if a handset’s assignment template includes the (feature) category Data with the required browse tags of 5MB and 10 MB, then the selected plan’s assignment template also includes the (feature) category Data with the required browse tags of 15MB and 20 MB. Then the results for the presented data (feature) category will be those items with one of these browse tags: 5MB, 10MB, 15MB and 20 MB.
SalesCentral Category template guidelines:
If one of the required browse tags in a template is the system-defined Service browse tag, the corresponding Category name in the assignment template Rule is used as the heading for the services listed on the Select Service tree. .

The system-defined browse tag category Contract tells the system to display the related catalog items on the Contract Selection page when creating a quote.
Implementation Note: To ensure that only SalesCentral-related contracts are displayed in the SalesCentral application, the following script must be run against the Core database.
The assignment template with the ID = 0 (a Contract template) must be assigned to all Contracts that should be displayed on the Contract selection page. Only those contracts whose browse tags match those in the template are displayed for selection.
