This section describes the contents of the Service window which is used when you assign a new service, or edit an existing service. The contents of the window are the same for both procedures. The only difference is the method you use to open the window, and the title bar which indicates "new service" when you are working with a new service, or the service number when you are working with an existing service.
The New Service window is displayed when you add a new service to an order using the Assign menu option.
You can select a service to edit from any one of the following locations in the IDI Desktop Client:
All wizards that list services. Right-click on the service and select Edit.
Customer Window - Services tab. Right-click on the service and select Edit.
Customer Window - Orders tab. Right-click on the service and select Edit Catalog Item.

The Service window has multiple tabs as described in the following sections. These vary depending on whether the type of service you are adding or editing.

The Wireless (including GSM) Service Window has these tabs:
Port Requests (only if the service type is configured for Port Requests)
