Dynamic Parameters
To add a dynamically populated parameter:
In the parameter field, enter the appropriate string to tell the system it should get the information from Extended Data. The string has the following format:
@[extended data name]
where extended data name is a Field Label in the Definition's User-Defined Extended Data.
Note
To include a dynamically populated parameter, the field name must exist as Extended Data in the Definition.
Data Injections
Data injections always use the following format of @[string].
Entering a string of text means that the variable is dynamic and the variable will be different each time it is used.
Note
Extended data or global ext data can be used within the brackets.
Dynamic Variables
Dynamic Variables use a link that comes from other IDI web apps.
The string entered reuses a parameter that is injected into the variable.
