About Importing NNAG and NNACL Files

If your company is an IDI ASP customer, your Billing Specialist imports the NNAG and NNACL files.

Telcordia maintains files that list all of the working NPANXX codes in the NPANXX Active Code List (NNACL) (Item No. NLDQ. Media: D) and the future add/deletes/changes to NXXs in the NPANXX Activity Guide (NNAG) (Item No. NGDY. Media: D). You can use this information to keep your NPANXX information current. To do this you must

Import NNACL information into the NNACL table (see NNACL Files).
Import NNAG information into the NNAG table (see NNAG Files).
Update the NNACL table based on new information in the NNAG table (see Updating the NNACL Table).
Note
The NNAG/NNACL imports are very specific and additional engineering is required. Please contact your Program Manager if your company wants to use this functionality.
The import process starts as soon as the file is placed in the appropriate import folder in the eFramNET directory of the server: InfoDirections\eFrameNET\Environments\environmentName\serverName_BackgroundProcess\. The Background Processes Service processes the file. After a file is processed, it is moved into a \Done folder. A log file in the \Error folder contain status and error messages that the administrator can use to trouble-shoot the process, if necessary.
