Working with Backdating Transactions

Prev Next

Backdating is a term used to identify automated and manual dating of payments and adjustments of accounts.

When a transaction is backdated, a set number of days can be entered into the system to indicate when posting of a payment can be made for a previous month. The end of the month financial data is changed as a result.

To prevent automated backdating from happening, the IDI platform allows you the option to configure rules defining how the system handles this request.

Backdating Controls/Configuration
