The Backdating Change Log tab displays a history of the changes made to the rules, and/or a history of transactions manually backdated to a closed period through a manager's approval.

The Backdating Control Configuration window contains the following fields:
Change Date | Displays the Close of Month configuration change date. |
Backdating Control | Indicates if the backdating control is set to ON or OFF. |
Auto Close Days | Displays the number of days into the current month that the previous month will be closed. |
Backdating Options | If set to Current Date, the posted date is set to the current date, or today's date. If set to First of Month, then the date is set to the first of the current month. |
User Name | Displays the name of the user that made the change. |
