All service types to be included in E911 update processing must be set up to support this functionality.
On the E911 tab:
Check Enable E911 Support.
Select the applicable E911 Type of Service and Class of Service. E911 Type of Service and Class of Service are defined in Admin Console Data Management and part of the information included in the E911 update file.
Note
The system allows saving the service type without these values; however, the values are required for the E911 export file. If defaults are not set up here, users will need to specify the values on a customer-by-customer/service-by-service basis later.
