In order to reinstate an inventoried service number, Application > CostGuard Client > Inventory Management > Service Number Inventory > Service Numbers > Reinstate must be enabled in your Permission Profile.
To reinstate an inventoried service number:

In the Service Number Search Results window, right-click on the desired service number and select Reinstate. This displays a confirmation window.
Note
You can only reinstate a service number that has an inventory status of Retired.

Click Yes to reinstate the selected service number. This updates the Service Number Search Results window to indicate the service number is reinstated. Its inventory status is set to Available and its Available Date is set to the current date.
