Phone Book Special Numbers

The Phone Book Special Numbers window in Product Management lets you configure and manage special phone book entries.

This functionality is permission-based. See Permissions for Special Phone Book Numbers.

Note

Each phone book entry is a unique combination of phone number plus description. The same phone number paired with two different descriptions constitutes two unique entries. Correspondingly, the same description paired with two different phone numbers constitutes two unique entries.

This window uses the same syntax rules for number and description as the corresponding fields on the Add/Edit Phone Book Entry form. To access the Phone Book Special Numbers form, from the IDI Desktop Client menu choose:

Applications > Product Management > Phone Book Special Numbers

From this window you can:

• add/edit entries.

• delete entries.

• enable/disable entries. When an entry is disabled, the entry cannot be assigned to products, nor can it be added to phone books.
