Products can be grouped to be sold as packages. Packages can be set up in various ways. Below are a few examples:

  • Several products can be bundled and given a single price for all of the products in the bundle.

Example: Call Waiting is separately priced at $3.95, Voice Mail is separately priced at $4.95, and Call Forwarding is separately priced at $3.95. They are offered as a bundle for the single price of $10.00 per month.

  • Several products can be bundled, for the ease of assigning them to a customer, and priced as a total of their separate individual prices.

Example: Call Waiting is separately priced at $3.95, Voice Mail is separately priced at $4.95, and Call Forwarding is separately priced at $3.95. They are offered as a bundle for the total price of $12.85 per month.

  • A choice of a defined number of products can be chosen from a list of products for a flat monthly fee or a monthly fee that is equal to the total of the individual prices that are charged for each product selected for inclusion in this package.

Example: A Custom Calling Feature Package is offered that includes Call Waiting, Call Forwarding, and Auto CallBack. Customers can choose 2 of the 3 features for the single price of $3.95 per month.

  • Packages, products, and pricing plans bundled into another package. Pricing plans as products allows for pricing plans to be bundled into packages.

    Notes:

    • Services cannot be added to packages.

    • Contracts cannot be added to packages.

    • Single-price packages are taxed at the package level only, unless Tax by Component is selected. The tax class selected for a single-price package overrides the tax classes of the products that are part of the package.
