Related Items Folder
The name of a folder containing related items (optional).
Is Restricted
If checked, this catalog item is restricted so that only authorized users can add the item to a POS order via the Find Catalog Items tool. See Restricting the Sale of Catalog Items.
Exclusive Group
An Exclusive Group ensures that redundant features do not get assigned to a service.
Viewing Effective Exclusive Groups for a Package
If there are any Exclusive Groups for this package (and the business rule setting is enabled) an icon is displayed to let you view them. (See Below)
Hide on Sales and Returns
If checked, this item is not displayed as a line item on a POS Sale, a Return transaction, or the associated quote and/or receipt.
Note
This field does not affect what is displayed on the Service Agreement. The information in the Service Agreement is determined by your company's business requirements and custom development.
Add On Effective Option
Here you can select an effective date option for the add on product (if the Choose Effective permissions are set in Admin Console).

Default. This is the value set by default for all new and existing catalog items. By selecting Default, the product will adhere to current effective date rules.
Back Date. The end date of existing items is set to the previous bill period's end date. The start date of the new items is set to the current bill period's start date. This option backdates the new plan or feature.
Today. The end date of the existing items is set to yesterday's date, and the start date of the new items is set to today's date.
Forward Date. The end date of the existing items is set to the current bill cycles' end date and the start date of the new items is set to the next bill period's start date. This causes the new feature or plan to start at the beginning of the next bill period.
Note
Any option selected other than Default will result in the Product Catalog item's start date being set to the option selected, regardless of the permissions set for the user who assigned that item, unless a "Force" option is selected.
Swap Effective Option
Does not apply to packages.
When Contract is Sold
Force Add on Effective Date to Contract Start Date
If checked, then during an Add On, the product catalog item's start date is set to the contract start date regardless of the Add On Effective option selected or any value selected on the Effective Date window (if shown). This check box is not available for the "contract" exclusive group.
Force Swap Effective Date to Contract Start Date
Does not apply to packages.
Effective Exclusive Groups Form
Click the caret to the right of the Exclusive Group field to view Effective Exclusive Groups.
