Every item in an inventory is assigned a system-defined inventory status, which identifies the current state of that inventory item:
Inventory Status | Current State of Inventory Item |
Aging | Disconnected and is not available for reassignment for a pre-defined period of time. |
Assigned | In use or has an order pending. |
Available | Not in use and is available for assignment. |
Not Available | Not in use and cannot be reserved or assigned. |
Reserved | On hold for future use by a subscriber. |
Retired | Retired and not available for assignment. |
To view the MIN inventory statuses that are defined in the system:
From the Applications menu, select Inventory Management > MIN Inventories > Inventory Statuses Reference. This displays the MIN Inventory Statuses window, listing all inventory statuses defined for MINs.
