MIN Blocks

Prev Next

MINs are tracked and managed in blocks, which are groupings of MINs at the line number level (NPA-NXX-XXXX). Your MINs are provided by the North American MIN pooling administrator, NCS Pearson, in blocks of up to 10,000 consecutive numbers. In order to create the reports required for MIN pooling, you must enter the MIN blocks you receive into the system.

To view the MIN Blocks currently defined in the system:

  1. From the Applications menu, select Inventory Management > MIN Inventories > MIN Blocks. This displays the MIN Blocks window.

The MIN Blocks window provides the following information:

    Statistics Updated

The statistics displayed in this window are automatically generated on a regular basis, via the Inventory Automatic Updates task that is executed by the Job Scheduler (see Inventory Automatic Updates). This field contains the date and time these statistics were last updated.

To recalculate these statistics, using the most current data available:

    • Click Update Now.

    • The MIN Blocks window is updated with the recalculated statistics and this field is updated with the current date and time.

      Note:

      This field cannot be modified.
