Bulk Data – Feature Import | 85130 | Skip services returned during Bulk Data Import that weren't In original file When a bulk feature import updates a child service, the Order Placement API also returns the related parent service in the response. The bulk data process attempted to process every returned service, including the parent service that was not part of the original bulk file, which caused an error. Bulk feature import was updated to skip any services returned by the Order Placement API that were not included in the original import file. This prevents errors that could occur when parent services are returned with updated child services during the import process. |

Tendering Enhancements
This provides several tendering enhancements for web Orders:
Allowed Tender Types and Cash Back options now follow the prevailing environment’s Register Policy setup.
The Tendering page look and feel has been improved. Also, you can now tender an amount over the balance due and make change.
You can choose to not tender pennies and round up/down to the nickel.
Adherence to Register Policy Setup for Allowed Tenders and Cash Back Rules
Web Orders now follow the Tender Allowed and Cash Back rules in the IDI Desktop Client Register Policy for the assigned user’s location.
Limiting Tender Options Based on Register Policy
The options available in the Tender Type selector in Orders are limited to those allowed by the Register Policy setup.

Cash Back Rules Based on Register Policy
Tender types eligible for cash back and the maximum amounts that can be given back are limited by Register Policy setup. When you enable an option and set the maximum limit, you can give change up to the set limit if that tender type goes over the balance due.
Note: This does NOT observe the Debit Card Cash Back setting, as this payment type must be less than or equal to the total amount due.

Transactions that involve cash back can not be completed as specified when:
The tender type is not selected (checked) in the Register Policy. In this case, a warning is displayed and the Save button disabled until that tender type is removed.

The Max Cash Back Amount for the tender type is exceeded. In this case, a warning is displayed and the Save button is disabled until the cash back is reduced to an amount equal to or less than the Max Cash Back Amount.

Tendering Without Pennies - Rounding to the Nickel
A new Enable Cash Rounding setting in Orders under MANAGE > Settings > General lets you choose whether to tender cash to the penny or round to the nearest nickel. Enabling this setting directs the system to round cash tenders to the nearest nickel rather than to the penny. Also, an additional Cash Balance value is displayed when tendering a transaction to indicate the potential difference (for example Balance = $181.13 and Cash Balance = $181.15).

Tendering Rules:
Last digit 1, 2, 6, or 7 cents → round down to nearest nickel
Last digit 3, 4, 8, or 9 cents → round up to nearest nickel
Last digit 0 or 5 cents → no rounding applied
Tendering New Look and Feel
The TAX & TOTALS tab on the tendering page has a new look with new options for accepting a tender amount above the balance due and making change. The Balance field is shown in brown for emphasis, and there is a new Cash Balance field shown in blue to indicate the rounded cash balance due when the Enable Cash Rounding setting is enabled).

Both fields are updated as tender amounts are added or subtracted.

Below is an example of tendering an amount above the balance due, showing the amount of Change due. This example also shows rounding to the nickel.
When you exceed the balance due, the New Tender button is removed and a Cash Rounding field is displayed in green to show the amount rounded up or down.
Note: You can still adjust tender amounts. If the adjustment results in a balance due, the New Tender button will become available again.

Using Tags to Mark Individual Accounts
You can create tags in Customer Care via MANAGE > Account Tags, and then assign them to individual accounts as needed to mark the accounts for special handling. For example, you can mark individual accounts to be excluded from the Paperless Billing Incentive.
Note: This specific application would also require you to add the tag to the Paperless Billing Incentive configuration in the web Product Catalog.
Creating Tags
In Customer Care:
Choose MANAGE > Account Tags..

This displays the Create Tags page.
Click + Create Tag.

Add a tag. Give it a meaningful name that associates it with the intended purpose, for example, Paperless Billing. Then enable it to make it available for selection in Customer Care and the Product Catalog.

Click Create Tag to confirm.

Below shows the create tag result.

You can edit and remove existing tags as needed via the associated kebob. Note: You cannot delete a tag if it is present on an account. In that case, the tag must first be removed from all accounts where it exists.

Adding a Tag to an Account
This is done via a new Tags tab in the Account Summary Info Center.

Click the tab to display a form for managing tags on the account.

Click + Add Tag. This displays a Tag Selector. Any tags created via MANAGE > Account Tags will be available for selection.

Select the applicable tag and then click Add Tag.

Below shows the tag added.

Once added, you can remove the tag from the account as needed by clicking Manage Tags and then clicking the red delete (X) icon.

Excluding Individual Accounts from Paperless Billing Incentive
Paperless Billing Incentive setup in the web Product Catalog lets you specify accounts to exclude from the Paperless Billing incentive based on a tag present on the account.
Note: This requires you to create a tag for excluding accounts from Paperless Billing Incentive and then assigning the tag to applicable accounts.
On the Paperless Billing Incentive page in the Product Catalog:
Select tags to omit from the drop down menu.

Once selected, you can remove a tag from the list by clicking the associated remove icon (X).

Applying a One-time Payment to a Specific Invoice
For providers that use Paymentus as their payment portal, when making a one-time payment in Customer Care, service representatives can now allocate the payment to a specific invoice when the functionality is enabled in the IDI environment. Note: This was provided for Customer Portal subscribers in version 26.5.
Setup
This capability is disabled by default. Administrators can enable it on an Environment basis in Customer Care via MANAGE > Paymentus Configuration. A new Payment Options tab is now available with the Allow payment allocation to a specific bill setting.

Applying a Payment to a Specific Invoice
If the setting is enabled, choosing Make Payment will present an option to allocate the payment to a specific bill or continue without allocating:

Choosing to allocate to a specific bill will display a list of unpaid invoices on the account. Click on the selector (0) for the applicable row to allocate the payment to that bill. Only one can be selected at a time. If no invoice is selected, the payment is applied to the oldest invoice with an unpaid balance.
Notes:
Selecting an invoice for allocation will not change how the payment amount defaults in the Payment Details from Paymentus.
At this point you can still choose to not allocate to a specific bill by unchecking that check box. Unchecking will return you to the previous form where you can continue without allocating.
