E-Check Verification Form
A Scan button is displayed at the bottom of the E-Check Tendering verification form.
This button initiates a scan using the MICR reader attached to the (configured) register.
The scan button is enabled when the window first opens; it is disabled during a scan; and re-enabled once a scan either completes or times out.
MICR Scanning Initialization
When the user clicks a tender type of E-Check, the IDI platform checks to see if a MICR reader is configured.
MICR Scan Response
The following information is recorded in the IDI platform when it receives notification from the MICR reader that a check has been scanned:
ABA Routing number
Account Number
Check Number
The Bank account type is set to Checking; the Bank Name and Account Holder Name fields are cleared, and the Drivers License Number field and Driver License State fields remain.
