Equipment Inventory Statuses

The Equipment Inventory Statuses relate to the status of a particular equipment item in inventory. Statuses are pre-defined. You cannot add, edit, or delete an Equipment Inventory status. To view the list of Equipment Inventory statuses:

1. From the Applications menu select Inventory Management > Equipment Inventories > Inventory Statuses Reference. This displays the list of Equipment Inventory Statuses.

   Status	Description
   Assigned	Equipment is assigned to a Line Card Route.
   Assigned (In-Use)	Equipment is assigned to a Line Card Route and is activated (route change is committed).
   Available	Equipment is not currently in use, but can be reserved and then assigned.
   Bulk Equipment Change	Equipment is part of a Bulk Equipment Change, but the associated orders have not been submitted. This status only applies to equipment with an Assignment Method of "Single Customer."
   Left-In	The Line Card Route is no longer in use by a customer, but the equipment has been left in place for the next customer.
   Not Available	Equipment not in use and can’t be reserved or assigned.
   Reserved	Equipment is being held for future use by a specific customer. You cannot change the status of a piece of equipment to Reserved. The system changes the status to Reserved just before the equipment is added to a Line Card Route. Generally, you will not see a status of Reserved since the system changes the status from Reserved to Assigned almost immediately. You can cancel a reservation once you have found it using the Inventory Reservation Search. Note Only equipment whose Assignment Method is "Single Customer" can be reserved. See Reserved Equipment.
   Retired	Equipment is no longer available in the inventory, but is retained in inventory for historical purposes.

The status changes based on the Assignment Method.
