The Collections Search function enables you to search for customer accounts that are in collections. To initiate a Collections Search:
On the Applications menu, click Treatment Management > Collections Search.
This displays the Collections Search form.

Enter search criteria. You can select as many check boxes as you wish in each section: none, some or all.
Market
To search for accounts in a specific market, select the desired market by checking the corresponding check box.
Account Type
To search for accounts with a specific account type, select the desired type by checking the corresponding check box.
State /Province
To search for accounts in a specific state or province, select the desired state/province by checking the corresponding check box.
Bill Cycle
To search for accounts in specific bill cycles, select the desired bill cycles by checking the corresponding check box.
Collection Status
To search for accounts with a specific collection status, select the desired status by checking the corresponding check box.
Collection Agency
To search for accounts that have been referred to a specific collection agency, select the desired agency by checking the corresponding check box.
Collection Agency Status
To search for accounts with a specific collection agency status, select the desired status by checking the corresponding check box.
Credit Class
To search for accounts with a specific credit class, select the desired statuses by checking the corresponding check box.
Assigned To
To search for accounts that are assigned to a specific collections person/group, select the desired person/group by checking the corresponding check box.
Include Group Members
Select/check this check box if you want to include all the members of the selected "assigned-to" group.
Account Status
To search for accounts with a specific account status, select the desired status by checking the corresponding check box.
Arrears
Aging Group
To search for accounts that are in a specific aging group, select the desired group from the drop-down list.
Aging Bucket
To search for accounts that are in a specific aging bucket, select the desired bucket from the drop-down list.
Amount
To search for accounts that have an amount in arrears that is greater than or equal to a specific dollar amount, enter that dollar amount.
Status Action Date
Note:
If an account has a Status Action Date, this indicates the account was referred to a collection agency and a Collections Letter or Agency File was exported to that agency.

To search for accounts with a Status Action Date that falls within a specific range:
Enter the first date of the desired range in the From field.
Enter the last date of the desired range in the To field.
To search for accounts with a Status Action Date that occurs on or after a particular date:
Enter the desired date in the From field.
Do not enter anything in the To field.
To search for accounts with a Status Action Date that occurs on or before a particular date:
Do not enter anything in the From field.
Enter the desired date in the To field.
Suspend Date

To search for accounts with a Suspend Date that falls within a specific range:
Enter the first date of the desired range in the From field.
Enter the last date of the desired range in the To field.
If you are searching for accounts with a Suspend Date that occurs on or after a particular date:
Enter the desired date in the From field.
Do not enter anything in the To field.
To search for accounts with a Suspend Date that occurs on or before a particular date:
Do not enter anything in the From field.
Enter the desired date in the To field.
Customer Information
Account Number
To search for a specific account number, enter the desired account number.
Note:
Wildcards may be used.
View Only Customers Currently In Collections
Select/check this check box if you only want to include customer accounts that are currently in collections.
Click Search.
Note:
If no search criteria are specified, all accounts in collections are returned in the search results.
Collections Search Results

The Collections Search Results window provides the following information:
Account Number | Account number assigned to customer. |
Customer Name | Customer's name. |
Account Status | Status of customer account (Active, Disconnected, Suspended, etc.). |
Collection Status | Collection status assigned to customer account. |
Status Action Date | If the customer account was referred to a collection agency and an Agency File for this account was exported to that collection agency, this field contains the date and time the file was exported. |
Total Balance | Total amount that is due on this account. (billed balance + unbilled balance + pending balance) |
Days Past Due | Total number of days the customer account is past due. |
Assigned To | Collections person/group assigned to this customer account. |
Prev. Assigned To | Currently not supported. |
Change Date | Currently not supported. |
Collection Agency | If the customer account was referred to a collection agency, this field contains the name of that collection agency. |
Agency Status | If the customer account was referred to a collection agency, this field indicates whether or not an Agency File was exported to that collection agency:

Market | Market assigned to customer account. |
Account Type | Type of customer account - Residential, Business, and so on. |
Bill Cycle | Bill cycle to which this customer account belongs. |
Credit Class | Credit Class assigned to the customer based on a credit report. |
State | Customer's state. |
Establish Date | Date and time this customer account was created. |
Disconnect Date | If this account was disconnected, this field contains the date and time of the disconnect. |
Suspend Date | If this account was suspended, this field contains the date and time of the suspension. |
Current Balance | This is the current amount due. |
Arrears 1 - 5+ | Indicates how many billing periods the customer is behind in payments. |
Collection Exempt | Indicates that the account is exempt from being put into collections. |
From the Collections Search Results window, you can:
View a particular customer’s account information by double-clicking on the account or right-clicking on the account and selecting View Customer. This displays the Customer window for the selected account.
Perform bulk operations on the accounts currently displayed in the Collections Search Results window. Right-click anywhere in the Collections Search Results window and select Bulk Operations, then select the bulk function you want to perform.

If applicable, only results allowed by a user limit-to profile will be displayed.
