In order to add a new MIN inventory, Application > CostGuard Client > Inventory Management > MIN Inventory > Inventories > New must be enabled in your Permission Profile.
To add a new MIN inventory:
In the MIN Inventories window, right-click anywhere within the window and select New. This displays the Add MIN Inventory window.

The Add MIN Inventory window provides the following input fields:
Inventory
Enter the name of the new MIN inventory.
Note
This field is required.
General Options
Disallow Reassignment
Select this check box if the MINs in this inventory cannot be reassigned to another customer.
Checked - MINs are retired when they are no longer in use (inventory status changes from Assigned to Retired). The retired MINs cannot be reassigned.
Unchecked - MINs become available for reassignment when they are no longer in use (inventory status changes from Assigned to Available).
All MINs Must Match Service Numbers
Select this check box if the MINs in this inventory must be the same as the service number being assigned.
Checked - When a wireless service number is being assigned, its MIN is the same number
Unchecked - When a wireless service number is being assigned, its MIN may or may not be the same number.
Reservations / Aging
Residential Standard Aging Interval
Number of days residential MINs must age before they can be reassigned.
Residential Port-In Aging Interval
Number of days residential ported-in MINs must age before they are returned to the MIN owner and statuses are changed to Not Available.
Business Standard Aging Interval
Number of days business MINs must age before they can be reassigned.
Business Port-In Aging Interval
Number of days business ported-in MINs must age before they are returned to the MIN owner and statuses are changed to Not Available.
Reservation Interval
Number of days MINs can be reserved before being made available for assignment.
Enter the desired information and click Save to add the new MIN inventory. The Add MIN Inventory window is closed and the MIN Inventories window is updated to include the new inventory you just added.
