A Quick Sale is a sale that involves the exchange of physical inventory or a service in exchange for tender.

When a Quick Sale is performed, the SKU is confirmed and the line item and the transaction totals screens calculates in real-time.

SKU

SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) is a property typically applied to salable products in the Product Catalog.

Product Availability & Available Quantities

The product availability and available quantities are confirmed during the sale, as well as the following:

  • correct unit price per sale,

  • tax by line item calculation, and

  • per total per transaction.

Concluding the Sale

When the sale is concluded the system calculates the appropriate change amount, if applicable, and generates two copies of the invoice.
