An Attribute Object is a collection of attribute properties which, when used in Customer Management, are the non-standard fields your company wants included in the IDI platform. You create descriptive names to allow their selection as a Base Attribute or Attribute Definition on IDI platform objects, such as products and order types. Once an Attribute Object is associated with an object, its related attribute properties (fields) are displayed for use in Customer Management.
Once an Attribute Object has been created and has attribute properties assigned to it, it must be linked to an Attribute Category to be available for selection as the Base Attribute or Attribute Definition.
