Editing a Line Item
To edit a line item:
Right-click on a line item and select Edit.

Modify the necessary information and click OK.

Viewing the Phone Book
If your company stores phone numbers for your customers, you can view the phone book associated with the service being activated. You can also add, delete, modify and change the order of the phone numbers in the phone book.

On the Make Sale window, right-click a line item associated with a service.and select View Phone Book. This displays the the Phone Book window for that service.

The Phone Book window lists the order of the entry as displayed in the Phone Book (Rank), the Name of the person and the Phone Number of that person.
From this window, you can add, edit or delete an entry.
add, edit
To add (or edit) an entry to the Phone Book:
Right-click in the Phone Book window and select New (or Edit). This displays the New (or Edit) Phone Book Entry window.

Enter the Name to be associated with the phone book number. You can enter up to of 35 characters.
Enter the 10 digit Phone Number.
Click Save. The listing is added to the Phone Book window and the New Phone Book Entry window remains open for more entries.
Note
Special phone book numbers are added by assigning the appropriate product to the service. See About Special Phone Numbers for Phone Books.

Deleting Phone Book Entries
To delete an entry from a phone book:
Open the service number's phone book. (See Accessing a Customer Phone Book)
Right-click the entry you want to remove and click Delete. This displays a confirmation message.
Click Yes to continue with the deletion.
Click Save to close the Phone Book window and remove the entry from the database.
OR
Click Actions > Refresh to remove the entry from the database and keep the Phone Book window open. This action also synchronizes special numbers on the service with those currently in the associated product. (See Synchronizing the Phone Book to Products Active on the Service.)

Once the Phone Book window contains a list of entries, you can arrange the order they will appear in the customer's phone book.
Select an entry and click the up or down arrows to move it higher or lower in the ranking. If an entry has a Rank of 0, it will appear first in the customer's phone book. This is often used as the emergency contact.
Click Save to update the database and close the window.
OR
Click Close to close the window without updating the database with your changes.
Note
The Actions > Refresh button saves all the changes to the database, but leaves the window open for additional changes.
