You can view the list of Equipment Types and their basic properties.
From the Applications menu select Inventory Management > Equipment Inventories > Equipment Types. This displays the list of Equipment Types.

The Equipment Types data table contains the following information.
Description
Equipment name.
Assignment Method
System-defined assignment method for this equipment type, Multiple Customers, Not Assignable, Single Customer.
Has Addresses
Indicates whether the equipment of this type can have associated Service Addresses.
Allow Reassignment
Indicates whether the equipment can be reassigned to another customer when it becomes available. For example, a terminal pair can be reused, but a circuit ID might not be reusable.
Note
This field is always applied to the Multiple Customers assignment method; can be selected for the Single Customer assignment method; and cannot be selected for the Not Assignable assignment method.
