The Tax Exemptions view can be selected on the Services and Features page when viewing a service. Clicking on this will display the extended tax exemptions for the service.
Users with Modify Service permission can add and remove extended tax exemptions on a service. This is an existing permission in Customer Care.
Extended tax exemptions can be added or removed from both the Tax Exemptions view on the Services and Features page and the Service Detail page.
Adding Extended Tax Exemptions
To add an exemption, click + at the top right corner of the Tax Exemptions grid:
You can then select one or multiple exemptions by clicking the + to the right of the exemption(s).
The list of exemptions can be filtered by Type or Category:
The Apply Taxes Except Tax Type Exempt Group property (checked or unchecked) will apply to all taxes being added in the dialog. If tax exemptions need to be added where some require this option checked and some require it unchecked, you will need to add the exemptions separately.
Clicking Save will add the extended exemptions to the service.
Removing Extended Tax Exemptions
To remove an exemption, hover over the exemption in the grid and click the x in the far right column.
A confirmation dialog will open. Clicking YES will remove the exemption.
