The Search Inventories function lets you search your inventory for service numbers or blocks of service numbers that meet a specified set of search criteria. You may search for individual service numbers or blocks of service numbers. Additional search options are available that let you restrict your search to a specific service number, account number, inventory status, NRUF category, and so on.
To initiate an inventory search:
From the Applications menu, click Inventory Management > Service Number Inventories > Search Inventories. This displays the Service Number Inventory Search window.

Enter search criteria as described below:
Search Results Type
Select Service Numbers to search for individual service numbers.
Select Service Number Blocks to search for service number blocks.
Default = Service Numbers.
NPANXX
If you are searching for a specific area code and exchange, enter the desired NPANXX.
Wildcards may be used.
Line From
and
Line To
If you are searching for a specific range of service numbers:
Enter the last 4 digits of the first service number in the desired range in the Line From field.
Enter the last 4 digits of the last service number in the desired range in the Line To field.
If you are searching for all service numbers that are greater than or equal to a particular service number:
Enter the last 4 digits of that service number in the Line From field.
Do not enter anything in the Line To field.
If you are searching for all service numbers that are less than or equal to a particular service number:
Do not enter anything in the Line From field.
Enter the last 4 digits of that service number in the Line To field.
Wildcards may be used.
Block Status
If you are searching for a specific service number block status, select the desired status by checking the corresponding check box(es).
Service Number
If you are searching for a specific service number, enter the desired service number.
Wildcards may be used.

This field is only enabled if you select Service Numbers as your Search Results Type.
Account Number
If you are searching for a specific account number, enter the desired account number.
Wildcards may be used.

This field is only enabled if you select Service Numbers as your Search Results Type.
Inventory
If you only want to search a specific inventory, select the desired inventory by checking the corresponding check box(es).
Note

Inventory Status
Current status of the inventory
If you are searching for a specific inventory status, select the desired inventory status by checking the corresponding check box(es).
Note
This field is only enabled if you select Service Numbers as your Search Results Type.
NRUF Category
If you are searching for a specific NRUF Category, select the desired category by checking the corresponding check box(es). See NRUF Categories.

NRUF Sub-Category
If you are searching for a specific NRUF Sub-Category, select the desired sub-category by checking the corresponding check box(es). See NRUF Sub-Categories.

Inventory Group / Inventory Group Type
If you are searching for a specific inventory group/group type combination, select the desired combination by checking the check box(es) to the left of that combination.

Available Date
From
and
To
If you are searching for service numbers with an availability date that falls within a specific range:
Enter the first date of the desired range in the From field.
Enter the last date of the desired range in the To field.
If you are searching for all service numbers with an availability date that occurs on or after a particular date:
Enter the desired date in the From field.
Do not enter anything in the To field.
If you are searching for all service numbers with an availability date that occurs on or before a particular date:
Do not enter anything in the From field.
Enter the desired date in the To field.

Ported-In Numbers Only
Select this check box if you only want to include ported-in numbers in the search results.
Ported-in numbers are numbers that belong to another company, but are assigned to your customers.

Received Numbers Only
Select this check box if you only want to include received numbers in the search results.
Received numbers are numbers that are "leased" from another carrier. They are used on the U3 Report.

Ported To/From
If you are searching for all service numbers that have been ported to or from a particular carrier, select the check box(es) to the left of the desired carrier.

Click Search.
If you selected Service Numbers as your Search Results Type, the Service Number Search Results window is displayed. Only those inventoried service numbers that match the specified search criteria are returned in the search results. See Service Number Search Results.
Note
If no search criteria are specified, all inventoried service numbers are returned in the search results.
If you selected Service Number Blocks as your Search Results Type, the Service Number Block Search Results window is displayed. Only those service number blocks that match the specified search criteria are returned in the search results. See Service Number Block Search Results.
