Local Lookup

Local Lookup is used as a means of converting a preorder response to an Order, by mapping USOCs to products in the Product Catalog. If a match for a USOC is not returned, an error message is generated and the order is considered incomplete.

Notes:

• Multiple USOC's can be mapped to a single product.

• Local Lookup applies to features (products and packages), lines (services) and pricing plans.

  To add a Local Lookup:

1. From the right-side of the Product Catalog window, right-click and select Local Lookup. The Local Catalog Lookup window is displayed.

   

Adding Local Lookup

1. Right-click anywhere in the grid and select New to add a new Local Lookup. The Add Local Lookup window is displayed.

   

2. Enter a USOC.

3. Select a Provisioning Company from the drop-down list.

4. Select a Limit to State Group from the drop-down list.

5. Click Save to save the changes.

Editing/Deleting Local Lookup

To modify an existing Local Lookup:

1. Right-click on the desired Local Lookup and select Edit. The Edit Local Lookup window is displayed.

   To delete an existing Local Lookup:

2. Right-click on the desired Local Lookup and select Delete. A confirmation window is displayed.

   

3. Click Yes to delete the Local Lookup entry.

Local Lookup Search

Based on the search criteria you enter, Local Lookup Search enables you to view USOC mappings for various products. This feature can be helpful if you are trying to determine errors or find out which USOCs are mapped to those USOCs in the Product Catalog.

1. From the Action menu, select Local Lookup Search. The Local Lookup Search window is displayed.

   OR

   Select the Local Lookup Search button on the Product Catalog toolbar. The Local Lookup Search window is displayed.

   

2. Enter the desired search criteria and click Search. The Local Lookup Search Results window is displayed.

   

3. Right-click on an item and select View/Edit to access the Edit Product window.
