A Notification Decision includes information about the message template, the delivery type and the number of days between messages if the customer does not contact your company.
Selecting Notification as an Automation Rule Decision opens the Add Automation Decision (Notification) window.

Template Name
The Template Name lists only those notification templates with a source of AdvancePay Service Info or AdvancePay Product Info. You can create a new template based on an existing one.
Click Copy. This opens the Add/Edit Template Properties window.
Enter the Name of the template.
Enter the Display Name for the template.
Click Save. This enters the new template information in the Template Name field of the Add Automation Decision (Notification) window.

Delivery Type
The Delivery Type is the method used to send the message to the customer. This can be by Email, SMS (SMPP) or SMS (SMTP).

In order to use the SMPP (Short Message Peer to Peer) protocol from the CostGuard system, a gateway connection to a third party system is required.

Day between notifications
The Days between notifications is the number of days you give your customer to respond to the message before sending another one. A fraction of a day is acceptable.
Click Edit Template if you want to change the selected template. The Edit Template button opens the Template Editor window where you can change the information of the message.
Click Save.
