Configure general options as described below.

Edit Global Location

Require Login Between Sales - If enabled, the user is automatically logged out of the client after completing a front office transaction, and prompted to log in again.

Allow Sale of Discontinued Item - If enabled, the user can sell a product that has been designated "discontinued."

Use For Recurring Billing Default - Checking this option causes Recurring to be the default selection in the Create E-Pay Account drop-down list on the Credit Card Verification Form during a Make Sale.

Allow E-Pay Credit Card Accounts for purchases - If selected, non-recurring E-Pay credit card accounts can be created and used for purchases during a POS sale.

Delay Promotions Until Complete Sale - If checked, the promotion amount is only displayed on the View Quote and Complete Sale windows.

Delay Taxes Until Complete Sale - f checked, the Tax and Total Due fields are only displayed on the View Quote and Complete Sale windows. Note: The Line Item Taxes permission for Sales Requests and Sales and Returns must be disabled when using this option.

Prompt for Taxable Address - If checked, displays the Select Taxable Address form during a POS Make or Bulk Retail Sale. This field is unchecked by default. Note: This setting is not applicable for Quick Sale or Make Sale Requests.

Require Customer For Returns - If checked, both blind and regular returns require customer information to be entered into the system before a return can be performed.

Require Customer for Blind Returns - If checked, customer information must be captured before a blind return can be entered into the system.

Require Return Reason - If checked, a Return Reason must be selected before a return can be entered into the system.

Suppress Shared Grant Discount Dialog - If selected, the Configure Discount reminder is not displayed upon completion of a sale that includes a Shared Across Selected Services (SASS) grant discount.

Inventory Dashboard Net Sales Display - Determines how the Inventory Dashboard displays the three net sales columns.

  • In the first field, enter an increment of the selected timeframe to be included in each of the three net sales.columns, for example 1, 2, or 3 (days, weeks, or months).

  • Select the timeframe of the net sales columns: Day(s), Week(s), or Month(s).

    Notes:

    • If either column is blank, 1 Month of net sales is displayed in each column.

    • This setting cannot be overridden at the the Region, Franchise, or Store levels.

      Inventory Count User - This optional field may contain the name of the person who is responsible for performing the inventory counts at this location. It can be chosen from a drop-down list of those with inventory count permissions.

      Inventory Follow-up User - From this drop-down list you can designate a user to perform the follow-up of checking to see if there is negative inventory. (Can be an individual or a group.)

      Default Service Type - The type of service that this location defaults to, such as GSM, wireless or prepaid. (It's the service that is triggered by an activation.)

      GL Subcode - A number that relates an amount to the specific General Ledger category. It may be used if a provider has two separate companies.

      Email Receipt 'From' Address - Enter the from email address.

      Email Receipt Subject - Enter the desired text. If one is not entered, the receipt number and/or store location name will be displayed on the receipt by default. Clicking on the link displays the following message regarding the Subject field.
