This procedure lets you create one user at a time. The Import procedure facilitates creating multiple users at a time. To create a user:
Click the Create User link to display user information fields.

Enter the user’s Personal Information, Account Information and Account Settings .

User Name
Enter a name to identify the user.
First Name
Enter the user's first name.
Last Name
Enter the user's last name.
Email
Enter an email address for the user.
Description
Enter additional information if desired.
Account Information
Account Type
Defaults to 'Application' unless the admin has permission to manage web service users.
Company
Select a company name from the drop-down list.
Domain
Presents a selection if more than one domain exists and the admin has the ability to manage domains. Without Manage Domains permission, an admin can only create accounts in the domain they are a member of.
Password
Enter a password.
Re-type Password
Re-enter the password.
Account Settings
Activation Date
Select an activation date using the calendar utility.
Expiration Date
Select an expiration date if desired.
Available / Disabled
These are included for CostGuard Client compatibility only and currently do not control any behavior.
Password Does not Expire
If selected, the password will not expire.
Must Change Password
If selected, the user must change the password at the next logon.
Can Change Password
If selected, the user can change the assigned password.
Deselecting this option is usually only for accounts that are used by more than one person.
In the User Roles by Environment section, click the plus sign
to display a dialog for selecting Environments and Roles to add. (Show picture)

Use the to select one or more Environments and Roles.
multi-select filtering options
Some drop down menus let you make more than one selection. These are marked by text indicating 0 of n selected before the selection and then n of n selected after the selection. When you make a selection from a multi-select drop down, you can either select a single item from the list or use the the options for selecting (checking) or unselecting all items or a filtered list of items. To filter the list, simply enter a text string on which to filter.

Click Apply. This displays the selected Environment(s) and Role(s).

Before you save the user account you can use the Undo
icon to remove a role under an environment.Note
The role will be removed immediately upon clicking (with no opportunity to confirm).
Click Save.
