Support for reverse service fees onreconnect

Functionality to support this has been delivered over two IDI software releases:

• With version 22.3 a Reverse Service Penalties action in Workflow lets you reverse penalties applied during final billing when reconnecting an account or service.

• With version 22.6, two new options available in both IDI Desktop Client and the Orders web module let you set up the system to process reconnects based on your business requirements.

  • Restart Billing Charges – This option updates the start date on recurring billing charges to the reconnection date, giving you an option to bill for a partial month of service and recoup additional revenue.

  • Exclude reconnecting previously invoiced one-time charges.

Also with version 22.6, new Order Field Configuration options in the Orders web module let you default or restrict all new and existing reconnection order options to ensure your business rules are applied.

Edit SKU description on direct invoicingitems

When selling a retail item configured to Allow Direct Invoicing, the Description text header is now an editable field that allows up to 50 characters. When not overridden, the field content is pulled from what’s configured on the item in the Product Catalog.

Error on attempting to create credit cardaccount

An internal framework issue in Customer Care caused the following error to display: Additional Info: “Due to an unforeseen error, the ability to create a Credit Card account is not currently available. Please try refreshing the page to correct this issue. If this does not work, contact your administrator.” The framework issue was related to Care’s ability to load the Payment Gateway Application screens for creating a credit card account.

The framework issue has been resolved and the error will no longer occur.

Usage viewissues

An internal framework update caused two usage view issues in Customer Care. Usage filtering drop-down menus were missing the default value of All. Service number filters for usage views were not filtering properly. Also, the service number drop-down menus on the Usage Balance Summary screens were not properly displaying the service number.

These issues have been resolved.

Bulk Data Management – Device Record Updates

SIM Card number not updated with bulk device recordupdate

AR 8885 (CostGuard version 22.3) provided the ability to import a CSV file to bulk update device records. In the rare case where the SIM card number stored in the Device table did not match the value stored in the UsgSvc table, AND the import file did not specifically include an update for the SIM card number, the conflicting values were not being updated to match. However, the values would be updated to match if the SIM card number was provided in the import file.

This solution ensures the SIM card values in both locations are checked and updated to match correctly on any bulk device record import that impacts the service, not just when a SIM card number change is included in the file.

TransUnion credit scoring issue returning Hawkcodes

AR 8881 (CostGuard version 22.5) added support for TransUnion Summary and Fraud Check reports. While testing this AR an issue was found where the new Hawk Codes field wasn’t being returned in the Credit Scoring workbook, even though they are returned in the CostGuard system.

These fields are now available to the Credit Scoring workbook.
